Streeter Marshall - Legal Insight Week
Streeter Marshall proudly offers work experience to Year 12 students who may be interested in pursuing a career in law. We are keen to be able to help young people in the local area gain access to the legal profession through our work experience programme. With over 200 years’ of history within the Croydon and surrounding areas, Streeter Marshall is proud to be able to give aspiring lawyers their first experience within legal practice.
Programme Overview
Streeter Marshall LLP’s Legal Insight Week takes place over the course of one working week across our offices by arrangement. Successful applicants will gain valuable insight into working within a high street law firm and be exposed to a variety of areas of law. Excitingly, our Legal Insight Week allows young people to work directly alongside our Partners and Senior Management to ensure that they get the very best level of exposure to law in practice. Applicants can expect to work within a different area of law on each day of their Insight Week, so that they may get a sense of what area of law may be of interest to them. Students will be expected to complete the full Insight Week.
Criteria
Streeter Marshall LLP are looking for enthusiastic and bright Year 12 and Higher Education students who are interested in a career within the legal sector. At this time, we cannot offer work experience to Year 10 and 11 students who wish to undertake work experience more generally. Applicants who have achieved an average grade of 5 across their GCSEs (to include the core subjects ) will be prioritised during the selection process.
