Ella is a solicitor practising in residential landlord and tenant law, with a particular focus on leasehold enfranchisement. This is a technical area where statutory time limits, valuation principles and careful drafting are critical.

Ella takes a clear and practical approach, ensuring that clients understand both the legal framework and the practical implications of their options. She regularly assist clients with both one-off queries and ongoing matters relating to residential leasehold arrangements.

Ella values direct communication and believe that clear conversations, whether by telephone, in person or via video call where appropriate, are central to achieving positive outcomes.

Ella began her legal career in property law before moving into specialist landlord and tenant work.

Prior to joining Streeter Marshall, Ella held the position of Senior Legal Manager at the Leasehold Advisory Service (LEASE), where she advised leaseholders, professionals and stakeholders across the leasehold sector, on enfranchisement and related matters. During that time, she contributed to sector guidance and responses to government consultations concerning leasehold reform.

Ella qualified as a solicitor in 2003.

Ella led a collaborative project with a national regulator to develop accessible training for residential management company  and right to manage directors, identifying emerging sector needs and convening professionals to create practical learning resources. This experience strengthened both her technical understanding and appreciation of the wider landscape in which leasehold issues arise.

Outside of work, Ella enjoys spending time with her family and keeping active. She has a particular interest in legal technology and the evolving role of artificial intelligence within professional services.
