At a previous firm, Chris acted for the Claimants in the case of Hand –v- George  EWHC 533 (Ch) in which the High Court upheld the right of adopted grandchildren to inherit under a 1946 will trust which did not include them within a class of beneficiaries because of the statutory definition of ‘children’ in force at the date of the will.
- AchievementsChris had a successful career as a senior manager in a large national company before re-training to become a solicitor, qualifying in 2007. As a result, he brings a commercial approach to dispute resolution. In addition to his legal qualifications he has a degree in economic and social history and a diploma in personnel management.
