Chris is an experienced dispute resolution solicitor who acts for both Individuals and business clients.
His practice encompasses a range of contentious work including Inheritance Act disputes, contentious probate, property litigation, commercial litigation, landlord & tenant, debt recovery, and construction & engineering disputes. He is also well versed in all aspects of enforcing judgments.
Open-minded and client focused, he brings a commercial approach to the advice he gives his clients.
Experienced in High Court and County Court work he is also a great advocate of alternative dispute resolution such as mediation.
At a previous firm, Chris acted for the Claimants in the case of Hand –v- George  EWHC 533 (Ch) in which the High Court upheld the right of adopted grandchildren to inherit under a 1946 will trust which did not include them within a class of beneficiaries because of the statutory definition of 'children' in force at the date of the will.
